What is LoRa?
LoRa is one of the most complete LPWAN technologies for IoT (Internet of Things) projects.
LoRa (Long Range) is a patented wireless communication technology that combines ultra-low power consumption with long effective range. It is ideal for loT networks where sensors without mains power are required.
Over the years, it has been demonstrated how useful this technology has been in different sectors such as domestic risk, agriculture, livestock, public safety, industry, etc.

The emitter is installed on the top inside of the tank, preferably on the tank lid.
It works by means of a level buoy, which detects the level of the tank. When the buoy is activated or deactivated, it sends a signal to the receiver. Powered by 3 AA batteries (battery life between 2 and 4 years).

The receiver may be installed at a distance of no more than 200m. This distance may be less in relation to obstacles, electromagnetic noise or frequency inhibiting devices.
